Dents have consequences
Fifteen parts take damage, from mirrors to the radiator, and each changes the car: a flat tyre pulls, a cracked windscreen puts passengers off. Repair at the garage, take a roadside quick fix, or let your insurance pay.
8e ArrtAv. des Champs-Élysées
Every avenue, one-way street and roundabout of the 8th arrondissement, rebuilt from the city's own map data. Take fares, beat the clock, show tourists the monuments, and earn your way to a better cab.
Every ride is a small job with its own rules. Do it well and the passenger pays more, rates you higher and tips.

Offers pop up on the taxi phone on your dashboard: ride type, pickup distance, destination and estimated pay. One tap to accept. Wait too long and the offer is gone.
The GPS guides you to the street where your passenger waits. Pull over, and they get in.
Some passengers are late, some want a spotless driving record, some want to see the sights. Red lights, give-way, speed cameras and the traffic of the hour are all on your side of the windscreen.
The fare by the kilometre, the ride bonus and a tip for good driving, minus any penalty. Your rating moves with every receipt.
Fuel, repairs and insurance keep you on the road. The rest goes on a better car, a new paint job, and the next district.
Each ride type has its own condition, shown on one gauge while you drive. New types open as your level and rating grow.
The everyday fare: pick up, drive, drop off. The meter runs by the kilometre and a smooth, clean ride earns the tip.
A train to catch, a meeting starting. Arrive before the timer runs out and the bonus grows with the time you have left.
Speed limits, red lights, give-way and indicators. Each infraction cuts the pay; a third one and the passenger gets out.
Pass by the monuments they ask for, and slow down near them so they get their photo. Tourists tip more than anyone.
The map is not drawn by hand. It is generated from the open data Paris and the national mapping agency publish, then dressed street by street.

Every street of the 8e with its real name, lanes, one-way direction and speed limit.
The number of cars follows the city's road sensor counts for the weekday and hour you play.
Day and night follow your phone's clock, the sun moves, the lamps come on. Rain changes the grip, the light and the crowd.
The Arc de Triomphe, the Concorde, the Grand Palais, the Madeleine, Saint-Augustin, Saint-Lazare, Parc Monceau and more.
Pedestrians and cyclists by place, hour and weather, red lights, speed cameras, and filling stations where the real ones stand.
Your garage is your home base, in 3D. Each car is a choice, not just an upgrade: the cheapest to run, the most comfortable, the one that earns most per ride.
Your first cab. Barely burns fuel in traffic. Standard, Rush, Strict and Tourist rides.
The first upgrade, a couple of hours in. Opens Premium rides.
More comfort, bigger tips. From level 3.
Comfort and pace for Rush and Premium. From level 4.
Seven seats, the best pay per ride, the dearest to keep. From level 6.
Fifteen parts take damage, from mirrors to the radiator, and each changes the car: a flat tyre pulls, a cracked windscreen puts passengers off. Repair at the garage, take a roadside quick fix, or let your insurance pay.
Level up with every ride, keep your rating high and your licence points intact. Speed-camera fines arrive on the taxi phone a little later, as in life.
Three objectives at a time, a paint shop for your colours, and a tally of every street you have driven for those who want them all.
The game opens with the whole 8th arrondissement, free. Leave it and the police wave you back: the other districts are closed by checkpoints and roadworks until they open.
The 7e, 16e and 17e are planned next, then district by district towards all twenty. After that, a shared city where drivers race each other for the same fares.
Yes. The game is free to download and play. At launch there are no ads and no in-app purchases.
The streets are. The road network, street names, lanes, one-way streets, speed limits and buildings come from open map data of the city (IGN, OpenStreetMap, Paris Open Data). Monuments are modelled after the real places, without being exact copies.
The whole 8th arrondissement: the Champs-Élysées, the Étoile, the Concorde, the Madeleine, Saint-Lazare, Parc Monceau and every street between them. The edges of the neighbouring districts are in view, and the 7th, 16th and 17th are the next districts planned.
Android phones first. An iPhone version follows. Graphics adapt to the phone so the game stays smooth.
With an on-screen wheel or by tilting the phone, with pedals, a handbrake and a horn. Driving aids go from Full to Simulation, and you can move the pedals to either side.
Not at launch: the first version is solo. A shared city where drivers compete for the same fares, with a ranking, is planned for a later version.
