Terms of use
About these terms
These terms apply to the mobile game Taxi Simulator: Real Paris 3D (the "game") and to this website. They are an agreement between you and DEEP IT CONSULTING ("we"), whose details are in the legal notice. By installing or playing the game, you accept them. The app store you install from (Google Play or the App Store) also has its own terms, which apply alongside these.
The game
The game is a driving game set on streets modelled on Paris. It is free to download and play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and play it on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment, and for no commercial use.
The first version is played solo. Features described on this site as planned (new districts, multiplayer, a shop) may arrive later, change or never arrive; they are not part of what you get today.
Your account
You don't sign up. When the game first starts, it creates an anonymous account on your device: a random identifier with no name, email or phone number. Your progress is kept on your phone. If you delete the game or its data, your progress is lost, and we cannot restore it.
Age
The game is designed for a general audience. If you are under the age at which you can consent to data processing on your own in your country (15 in France), ask a parent or guardian before you agree to optional analytics in the game.
In-game money and items
The euros you earn in the game, and the cars, paints and districts you unlock with them, are part of the game. They have no value outside it, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services, and cannot be sold or transferred. We may rebalance prices, rewards and requirements to keep the game fair and fun.
The first version has no in-app purchases and no advertising. If purchases are added later, these terms will be updated before they are, and the store's own payment and refund rules will apply.
Fair play
Please don't:
- modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the game, except where the law allows it;
- use cheats, bots or tools that change the game or its saved data, or exploit a bug on purpose;
- attack, overload or try to access our servers or other players' data;
- send reports or messages that are abusive, unlawful or contain other people's personal data.
Your reports
When you send a problem report from the game, it includes a picture of the game's view and the note you write. You keep your rights over your note, and you allow us to use the report, free of charge, to find and fix problems in the game.
Intellectual property
The game, its code, 3D models, textures, sounds, texts, name and logo belong to us or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not give you any of those rights beyond playing the game.
The city is built from open map data, credited in the legal notice. Monuments and buildings are inspired by real places and are not exact copies. Vehicles are the game's own designs. The game is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any taxi company, carmaker or the City of Paris.
A game, not the road
The game simplifies traffic, driving rules and the city. It does not teach you to drive and is no guide to the real highway code or to real routes. Never play while you are driving, cycling or walking in traffic.
Availability and updates
We work to keep the game running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. We may update, change or withdraw parts of it, for example to fix problems, rebalance it or add content. Some content downloads after installation and needs a connection the first time. The game needs a compatible phone, listed on its store page.
Liability
We are liable to you as French consumer law provides. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content. Where the law allows, we are not liable for losses we could not foresee, nor for losses caused by your device, your connection, a third party or a use of the game contrary to these terms.
Ending
You can stop at any time by deleting the game. If you break these terms seriously, we may block access to online features of the game, after telling you why where we can.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the game gains new features. We'll show the date of the last change at the top of this page, and tell you in the game about any important change before it applies.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at contact@deep-it.fr: most problems are solved that way. As a consumer, you keep the right to go to the court of your place of residence.
